Abhishek explains his Sikh connection by sharing a beautiful picture of 3 generation of Bachchans!
The three generation of Bachchans in the Sikh getup is one of the most beautiful things to look at.
Not many know but megastar Amitabh Bachchan too has a Sikh connection. Big B comes from Uttar Pradesh but his maternal ancestors were Sikhs. Well, many people didn’t have any clue about it until Abhishek Bachchan informed his fans. Junior Bachchan, who will be seen playing a Sikh guy in his upcoming film, Manmarziyaan, shared a beautiful picture of 3 generation of Bachchan family with everyone wearing a turban. But how does it explain a Sikh connection? Well, Junior Bachchan cleared the air and informed that Amitabh’s Nanaji (maternal grandfather) was a Sikh, named, Khazan Singh Suri.
Abhishek shared the picture on Instagram, captioning, “So my father sends me this photo. That's my great-grandfather (my father's nanaji), dad and yours truly.. 3 generations! #Manmarziyaan #itsinourblood #punjabi”
On the work front, Abhishek has returned to films after a gap of 2 years. And with Manmarziyaan, he is collaborating for the first time with Anurag Kashyap, Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal. Produced by Aanand L Rai, the release date of the film is not declared as yet.
