Ace comedian Vir Das to portray the role of a serial killer in his next film!

Vir Das is no doubt one of the best comedians in India. But doing stand-up is not his only strong point, he is also an ace actor who has done multiple movies. In his 11 years long film career, he has done what suits him the best, the comic and light-hearted roles but looks like the witty Vir wants to try his hands at something different. After making us laugh for years, he for the first time will be seen doing a grey role. That’s right; Vir will next be seen in a thrilling drama, titled, ‘Hasmukh’, where he will be seen as a serial killer. The actor will not only act in the film but also co-produce it with Nikkhil Advani and the film will come out in later 2018.

Talking about his dark thriller to a leading daily, Vir Das said, “This year is a good phase for my company Weirdass Comedy, we’re venturing into production with two big projects this year. Hasmukh is soon going on the floor; I’m also portraying the role of a serial killer in the movie.”

Besides this, Vir Das is also working on other projects which include a comic caper titled, ‘Happy Patel Khatarnaak Jasoos’. He reportedly spoke about another film which is in a ‘Delhi Belly’ zone as it is about a two boy story one night in Gujarat. Although he refused to divulge too many details, he did maintain that it is backed by an A-list production house.
