Actress working post marriage, an age old phenomenon: Kareena

Kareena Kapoor, who wed Saif Ali Khan last year, said that being married was not a crime for any actress. She opined that there should be distinction between personal and professional life.

Kareena was present on the opening ceremony of FICCI FRAMES 2013. She lit the ceremonial lamp for the 3-day event. Talking about the career of an actress post marriage, Kareena told that if a girl loves someone and gets married doesn't imply that people will stop loving her or her character onscreen. Films and marriage are two diverse aspects and one should not try to club them together. Also, it was not a crime, cleared Kareena.

She also brought forth the examples of some past actresses who had a great career post marriage. She thought that people were making a hill out of a mole for now more but earlier Waheeda Rehman, Sharmila Tagore had worked post marriage. It has been happening ever since, concluded Kareena.
