Ae Dil Hai Mushkil: Johar to contribute to the Martyrs Fund; will display a slate of tribute!

The Ae Dil Hai Mushkil controversy over casting Pakistani actor Fawad Khan has taken a new positive turn. After all the efforts, Karan Johar can finally sigh a relief! A recent meeting was held with Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis with MNS party leader Raj Thackeray and film’s director – producer Karan Johar along with a few producer guild’s prominent members Mukesh Bhatt, Siddharth Roy Kapur and Vijay Singh.

The outcome of the meeting is that MNS will not oppose the release of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

Karan Johar has stated that he will contribute to the Martyrs fund whether or not the film makes any business. Also, he will display a slate of tribute for URI martyrs before the movie begins rolling.

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is all set to release this Diwali i.e. on October 28, 2016. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan in the lead.
