Talented actor Randeep Hooda, who was last seen in Salman Khan’s blockbuster film Sultan, has now joined the star cast of the upcoming action-thriller film, Baaghi 2, featuring Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani in the lead roles. Seasoned actor Manoj Bajpayee also signed the film a couple of days back. Reportedly, Hooda will play a prominent part in the movie and his character is such which will be a very refreshing change for him.
A source has been quoted as saying, “He is expected to get his earlobes pierced and will sport dreadlocks and a funky wardrobe. His character is called LSD.” Baaghi 2 started its first schedule in Pune on September 18 and after wrapping up the shoot in the city, the entire team of the film moved to Mumbai to commence the next schedule. Randeep will start shooting for his portion soon. Confirming the news about his entry in the franchise, producer Sajid Nadiadwala said, “Yes, Randeep is a part of Baaghi 2.” Hood acted in his 2014 directorial debut, Kick.
Directed by choreographer-turned-filmmaker Ahmed Khan, who has taken over the baton from Sabbir Khan who helmed Baaghi in April 2016, Baaghi 2 also features Prateik Babbar in a significant role. The film is all set to release on 27th April 2018.
