After the incredible success of Neerja, every filmmaker has started seeing Sonam Kapoor in a new light. Roles are being written keeping her in mind and from newcomers to top-notch directors, everyone is keen on collaborating with the diva.
Sonam has just wrapped the R. Balki directorial Padman, which features Akshay Kumar as the male lead. She will soon start shooting for her sister’s Veere Di Wedding with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Swara Bhaskar.
If you remember Sonam was supposed to work with her Khoobsurat co-star Fawad Khan in Battle for Bitora, the film adaptation of Anuja Chauhan’s best seller novel of the same name. But the project was shelved due to the rising tension between India and Pakistan post Uri attacks.
Now, if a report published in a leading tabloid is to be believed, Sonam is all set to collaborate with Anuja once again, but for a different project. The report mentions that the actress has greenlighted a film which is based on Anuja's another novel The Zoya Factor.
An official confirmation is awaited, though.
