Actress Alia Bhatt is set to play the role of a Bihari daily wage labourer in her upcoming film 'Udta Punjab'.

Actress Alia Bhatt who is known to play all bubbly characters is all set to break her 'urban girl' image. The latest update from the film ' Udta Punjab is that, the gorgeous Alia will be seen playing an extremely different role in the film. She will portray the role of a Bihari daily wage labourer.
Alia will be seen playing the role of a Bihari immigrant in Punjab who comes there for job prospects. Her character comes from a rural background for the very first time in this Abhishek Chaubey directorial. The much talked about film also stars Shahid Kapoor , Kareena Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh .
