Amitabh Bachchan to do shooting at 350-year old Kalikapur Rajbari in Kolkata

Sujoy Ghosh's forthcoming flick 'Te3n' will see Amitabh Bachchan, Vidya Balan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui sharing the screen. Big B is shooting in Kolkata for this film and he will be travelling over 300 km to Burdwan town for the filming. It's a four day long schedule.

Reportedly, Amitabh Bachchan will be filming at 350-year old scenic historical place called The Satmahal Kalikapur Rajbari, which is 65 km from Burdwan. Bachchan senior will shoot with Nawazuddin around this place for next few days. Some Bengali movies like 'Goynar Baksho' by Aparna Sen and 'Noukadubi' by Rituparno Ghosh were also filmed at this beautiful location. The legends like Mrinal Sen, Satyajit Ray and Tarun Majumdar also filmed at this place.

The dewan of the Burdwan maharaja, Parameswar Roy built The Satmahal Kalikapur Rajbari for his seven sons and the place is spread over 400 bighas. The picturesque place is surrounded by Shiva, Durga and Kali temples as well as a garden and pond.
