Arjun Rampal thanks Mumbai Police for their support while shooting Daddy
Arjun Rampal shared his experience shooting on the real location for film Daddy, also thanking Mumbai Police for their support.

Arjun Rampal is all geared up for his ambitious project on the life of gangster-turned-politician Arun Gawali in Daddy. Yes, the film where he has not just transformed into an unbelievable look, but has also donned co-writer and producer’s hat for the first time. Talking about it at the latest FICCI Frames 2017, he specially mentioned Mumbai Police for their huge support during the film’s shooting.
“Since Gawali is a gangster and politician and we are projecting the character as authentic as possible, shooting a major part in real location was risky. But we received huge support from Mumbai Police to shoot the film, they did not object,” Rampal said.
National award winning director Ashim Ahluwalia has tried to capture various phases of Gawali’s life. He has immensely worked for the perfection in appearance, production, designing and screenplay. Even Rampal on his part has done extensive research to know the gangster-turned-politician’s life in detail.
Daddy is tentatively slated to be released in July this year.
