As a mark of respect to Sridevi, the makers of 102 Not Out cancelled a song’s shoot!
Yes as a mark of respect to the demise of our legendary actress Sridevi, we decided to cancel our today’s shoot, says director, Umesh Shukla.
On Saturday evening, the legendary actress, Sridevi, took her last breath. The late actress, who was 54 years old, died due to a massive cardiac arrest. The Indian film industry is left in shock with the untimely demise of Sridevi. Celebrities from across different fields are mourning the loss of the veteran actress. As a mark of respect, the 102 Not Out team decided to cancel the song shoot on Sunday, February 25.
Director Umesh Shukla confirmed the news saying, “Yes as a mark of respect to the sudden and untimely demise of our legendary actress Sridevi, we decided to cancel our today’s shoot of 102 Not Out. May God give peace to her soul and strength to her family.”
102 Not Out stars Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor and both the stars have worked with the late actress in the past. Where Rishi Kapoor and Sridevi starred in several projects together including iconic films like Chandni and Nagina, on the other hand, Amitabh Bachchan and Sridevi had worked together in the blockbuster hit, Khuda Gawah.
Sridevi is referred as the first female superstar of the nation, having worked in more than 250 films. She will be seen on the big screen for the last time in Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero, where she will be having a cameo.
