Aurangzeb is not a remake of 'Trishul' says the director
The debutant director Atul Sabharwal dismisses the rumors of 'Aurangzeb' being a remake of yesteryear's movie 'Trishul' (1978).
The first theatrical trailer of the film 'Aurangzeb' is creating waves online and giving rise to buzz that everyone is contemplating this movie being the remake of yesteryear's film 'Trishul' (1978).
However, the director Atul Sabharwal fires these rumors clarifying that in terms of treatment, it can be compared to 'Deewaar', a classic-oldie of 1975. Sabharwal mentions, 'Aurangzeb' is a tribute to Salim Khan saheb and Javed Akhtar saheb for their writings. The director says that this movie is homage to the cinema by both of these great personalities.
'Aurangzeb' was set in small village in Gurgaon, which is one of the fastest growing cities nowadays. Gurgaon has been shown by the director against the backdrop of two families. The families are at loggerheads with each other. Very similar to the work of Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar, 'Aurangzeb' is an exhilarating blend of action and dialogues.
'Aurangzeb' centers on one of the Delhi-based construction company. The film contains story of two families, one family of a Policeman and the other family of a Gangster. 'Aurangzeb' showcases how the law has to don an attire of a criminal to curb another criminal.
