Bhushan Kumar hasn't yet given up on Gulshan Kumar biopic
The biopic is being touted to be the biggest project coming from the house of T-Series.
Bhushan Kumar, who, in 2017, announced a biopic on his late father Gulshan Kumar with Akshay Kumar in the lead, was in shock when the actor decided to opt out of the project due to some creative differences. After Khiladi Kumar quit the film titled Mogul, rumours started doing the rounds that Aamir Khan might come onboard to replace the actor in it. However, there was no official confirmation on the same. With Khan gearing up to begin work on his ambitious project, Mahabharata, Bhushan Kumar has now, reportedly, begun his hunt for a big actor to replace Akshay Kumar in the biopic of Gulshan Kumar.
According to reports, Bhushan is keen to rope in one the Khans for the biopic. “My father’s biopic is very close to me. That is the biggest announcement we have made in our lives and we will confirm an actor soon. He could be bigger than Akshay Kumar,” Kumar said.
Mogul was about to release in 2018, but with no progress in sight, the film may be pushed to 2019 or 2020.
