Bollywood stars to assist re-build Uttarakhand

Shaken up by the grief of Uttarakhand flood victims, Bollywood fraternity is going to held a star-studded fund-raiser event. The revenue of show will be donated to NGOs.

The gruelling tales of grief-struck kids, who had to lost their parents in the recent Uttarakhand flood, had shaken up Bollywood fraternity and hence, Hindi cinema world has planned to help the catastrophe affected victims.

The latest news disclosed that Star India is going to held a fund-raiser event, which would be a seven-hour on-air marathon. This event called 'Saath Hai Hum Uttarakhand', will be held on August 15 and will see several Bollywood stars spreading their shine around. This noble initiative aims at proving as a ray of hope for Uttarakhand children. The news update also mentioned that the two B-Town diva, Madhuri Dixit and Aishwarya Rai are going to perform in this star-studded event. Reportedly, Abhishek Bachchan is also on the list of performers in this social cause.

The revenue generated by this show will be donated to the authentic NGOs, which are striving hard to lend a helping hand to the flood-ravaged victims to bring their lives to normal track. Apart from Madhuri and Aishwarya, this event also boasts of the other big names gracing the occasion, such as Amitabh Bachchan, Lata Mangeshkar, A. R. Rahman, Anil Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Kajol, Ayushman Khurana, Boman Irani, John Abraham, Prasoon Joshi, Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani, Loy Mendonsa, Abhay Deol, Bipasha Basu, Neha Dhupia, Mukesh Bhatt, Pritam Chakraborty, etc. Also, the television stars from the serials like 'Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara', 'Diya Aur Baati Hum', 'Devon Ke Dev Mahadev', 'Saraswatichandra', 'India's Dancing Superstars' and 'Savdhaan India', will also be attending this show.

All key television flagship channels of Star India like Star Plus, Star Pravah, Channel V, Life OK, Star Utsav are going to air this show on the Independence Day.
