Check out Bhumi Pednekar’s look from Zoya Akhtar’s segment of Lust Stories!

Lust Stories is an anthology series comprising of four short films by Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap, Dibakar Banerjee and Zoya Akhtar. While the first three directors have already released the first look of their actors, the latter has finally lifted the curtains from the face of her leading lady. We are talking about Zoya’s untitled short film which will be headlined by Bhumi Pednekar and Neil Bhoopalam. And finally, the official look of Bhumi has been revealed. In the film, Bhumi is playing the role of a maid named Sudha who works in Ajit’s (Neil) house.

About making her Netflix debut with this film, Zoya Akhtar had earlier said, “Viewers today demand freedom in how they consume entertainment and since our stories have evolved to reflect modern sensibilities, so should the medium. It’s very exciting to make my Netflix debut with this film, and I can’t wait to see how a world audience receives it.”

The film is produced by Ronnie Screwvala and all the four directors have completed their quartets. Unlike usual theatrical release, Lust Stories is scheduled to release on global video streaming giant, Netflix.
