Copyright Problem For 'Pandey Ji Seeti Bajaye' From 'Dabangg 2'.
The song ‘Pandey Ji Seeti Bajaye’ is in a copyright row now. Apparently, the granddaughter of filmmaker Shailendra, has complained that the song is taken from the song ‘Chalat Musafir’.
The song \'Pandey Ji Seeti Bajaye\' is in a copyright row now. Apparently, the granddaughter of filmmaker Shailendra, has complained that the song is taken from the song \'Chalat Musafir\'. Which was composed by Shanker-Jaikishen, for the film \'Teesri Kasam\'.
She has already given a legal notice to the film\'s producers. On the other hand though composers Sajid-Wajid feel that it is a folk tune of the region, she maintains that it is still an issue of copyright infringement.
To this Sajid has replied that their lawyer has received the legal notice and replied to it. He still maintains that the tune is a local folk tune and is a national property.
