According to the latest reports, The Central Board of Film Certification has given a green signal to the upcoming action crime thriller ' D-Day ' which is directed by Nikhil Advani . The insider source claimed that actually the filmmakers were expecting some objections from the censor board for the film. But surprisingly, the film passed with the flying colors with no objections. The film contains some volatile dialogues about our neighboring country Pakistan but the board ordered no cuts for these dialogues. The film got U/A certification from the board.

The board ordered only a few cuts in which few dialogues of Shruti Haasan have been ordered to remove. Shruti Haasan will be seen as a prostitute from Karachi in this film which contains some provocative drama and thrilling action sequences. The film which showcases the cross-border terrorism has been stuffed with some edge-of-the-seat thrill. It shows the story of some RAW officials who are sent to Pakistan on a mission to capture the most wanted criminals for India.

The film features Rishi Kapoor , Arjun Rampal , Huma Qureshi , Irrfan Khan and Shruti Haasan in pivotal roles. Advani's directorial venture is slated to release on 19th July 2013.
