Veteran director Bejoy Nambiar's much awaited film 'David' has been released today. But the name of the film was decided something different than David. Earlier the film was named as Michael instead of David. But coincidentally, there was another film named as Michael. So Bejoy decided to rename the film and the three characters of the film as David.
The filmmaker revealed this interesting information in a recent interview. He was speaking to the media at a promotional event of 'David'in Delhi with his three' Davids', newcomer Vinay Virmani, south icon Chiyaan Vikram and handsome Neil Nitin Mukesh. Bejoy said that, "the film highlights different genres and father-son stories of three different backgrounds. It also coincidences with the famous David Goliath fight. In his film, each David is struggling with his different Goliath. The three Davids are fighting in three different places, at three different points of time but with the similarity in their names. The film shows how the three Davids eventually meet each other.
The star of the film Neil said that,"we have shot the three stories in three different tones to set the mood. My story of 1975 in London is shot in black and white tone, Vinay story of 1999 in Mumbai is shot in a blue tone and Vikram Sir's story of 2010 in Goa is shot in a yellow tone. It's really interesting to watch all the three stories. "
