Deepika doesn't take her success for granted

The leggy lass Deepika Padukone might be in the seventh heaven after the success of her two films ' Race 2 ' and ' Cocktail ', but the down-to-earth actress says that she has endured a lot to reach at this place, so she does not take her success for granted.

The dimpled beauty said that she does not take anything for granted. She has been on the pins and needles for a long time and since last one year she had to make lots of personal forfeits like deprivation of sleep and her own family time for her work commitments. The talented actress expressed that she has not seen her parents for quite a long time now. But eventually, all of this fills the bill when her films earn good business and reviews. Deepika was chit chatting with the media when she was in Delhi to promote her forthcoming film ' Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani '.

In this film, Deepika will share the screen with her ex-beau Ranbir Kapoor after a long gap of four years after ' Bachna Ae Haseeno '. Deepika said that, after the action thriller ' Race 2 ', she signed ' Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani ' because the film sounded good to her. Deepika said that she has worked really hard for this film. Deepika feels that this film is the one of the toughest films of her career.

Deepika also shared that she is happy to get a chance to work with Ranbir. According to her, ' Bachna Ae Haseeno ' didn't give them a fair chance as an on screen couple. The Diva always used to say that ' Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani ' is the correct film to work together for her and Ranbir.

' Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani ' also features Aditya Roy Kapur , Kalki Koechlin as the protagonists. The movie is directed by Ayan Mukherjee and will be released this Friday. Deepika will also be seen in ' Chennai Express ' opposite Shah Rukh Khan and is currently shooting for her next venture ' Ram Leela ' made by Sanjay Leela Bhansali featuring Ranveer Singh as the male protagonist.
