He is the very famous comedian Kapil Sharma, the face of the television show 'Comedy Night With Kapil'.

Deepika Padukone and Kapil Sharma were honoured with the 'Indian of the Year 2013' award at an award-ceremony held on Friday. A leading news channel honoured total eleven Indians, with extraordinary talent in the fields like Entertainment, Politics, Sports, Public Service and Business categories. Reportedly, Deepika was honoured with this award for continuously reinventing herself as the female lead with excellent acting skills and delivering mega hits like ' Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani ', ' Chennai Express ' and ' Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-leela '.

Kapil Sharma felt honoured to be awarded among the iconic personas. Sharma won the title of 'CNN-IBN Indian of the Year 2013 - Entertainment'. The comedian received the award for developing a successful stand-up comedy show, which is loved by one and all.
