Deepika Padukone to render bar dancer in 'Happy New Year'
In the upcoming film \'Happy New Year\', Deepika Padukone has experimented with a new role by playing a bar dancer.

The leggy lass Deepika Padukone is riding high ever since her ' Cocktail ' release. Since then, she just delivered hits after hits. She managed to gather the round of applause by her sheer performances, whether it be vibrant "Veronica", shelled "Naina" or mind blowing "Meenamma Lochni", she dazzled in her every role. And now, she is up to play a Marathi bar-dancer in Farah Khan 's forthcoming flick ' Happy New Year '.
A source threw some highlights on Deepika's character in the film, saying that she will enact the role of an ex-bar dancer, where the lead men, Shah Rukh Khan , Abhishek Bachchan , Vivaan Shah and Sonu Sood are the dreadful dancers and Deepika helps them with their dance moves to win the dance trophy.
As Deepika herself spoke some superb Tamil dialogues in the recent blockbuster ' Chennai Express ', this time too, it is expected that she will deliver at least few dialogues in Marathi. Also, ' Happy New Year ' will provide the visual treat, as the diva will be seen doing some stunning dance moves.
' Happy New Year ' shoots have begun in Dubai and currently, the team is filming the song, "Indiawaale", which represents our country.
