But now Deepika will shed her hot and sensuous image for her upcoming film ' Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani '. She will be seen in a totally brand new avatar.
The leggy lass Deepika will be seen playing a girl next door in her next release. This will be for the first time that Deepika will be seen wearing the glasses onscreen. Her character in this film is of a simple and sweet girl next door so she will wear a cute pair of spectacles. The source said that Deepika is carrying off her new look very well.
The talented actress was seen wearing specs in her real life during travelling. But on screen, she will be seen in a 'Chashmish' look for the first time. The film ' Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani ' also stars cool dude Ranbir Kapoor opposite Deepika. The film is directed by Ayan Mukerji . The cast and crew just returned from Kashmir after completing the on location shoot.
