The filmmaker Anurag Kashyap was unable to promote or show his directorial venture ' Gangs Of Wasseypur ' in the Dhanbad city as the movie is based on the backdrop of Dhanbad. Dhanbad is infamous for coal mining mafia, and the film dealt with the same issue so the inhabitants were of the opinion that Kashyap has presented the information about their place in a distorted manner.
However, the director has finally succeeded in pleasing the audiences of Dhanbad. Now they have nothing against the sequel ' Gangs Of Wasseypur 2 '. So Anurag Kashyap will now be able to release his film ' Gangs Of Wasseypur 2 ' in Dhanbad too.
After getting appreciation from the audiences of the Dhanbad region, the director has decided not only to release his film in region but to also conduct promotional activities for his film in this area as well.
' Gangs Of Wasseypur 2 ' will feature Sardar Khan's son, Faisal Khan to power. The character of Faisal Khan is played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui . The film will be released in theatres August 8.
