Dia Mirza heaps praises on director Rajkumar Hirani!
The former beauty queen will play Sanjay Dutt's current wife, Manyata Dutt, in his biopic.

We all know that with Rajkumar Hirani 's upcoming biopic on superstar Sanjay Dutt , the beautiful and stunning actress Dia Mirza is making her comeback to Hindi films after a long time. She was last seen in an Iranian-Indian film called Salaam Mumbai. In her next untitled film, she essays the role of Sanjay Dutt 's current wife, Manayta Dutt. This is the first time when Mirza has teamed up with acclaimed director, Rajkumar Hirani , for a film. Sharing her experience working with him, she expressed, “I have the deepest regard and respect for his sensibilities, and for the stories, he chooses to tell."
Not just Hirani, Dia also showered praises on co-actor Ranbir Kapoor . “To work with the team and Ranbir was deeply gratifying. I got to learn so much. It was one of the most positive work environments,” she said. Working in a biopic has its own joy. Sharing the same thought, she adds, “To be a part of a biopic and essay the life of a real person and to experience the circumstances that they’ve lived in is everything an actor could ever ask for.”
To be produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra , Sanjay Dutt biopic is scheduled to release in March 2018. Besides Dia Mirza and Ranbir Kapoor , the film also stars Sonam Kapoor , Anushka Sharma , Manisha Koirala , Paresh Rawal , Vicky Kaushal and Karishma Tanna .
