Looks like controversies are not going to leave Kedarnath so easily. Right after the much-publicised fallout between KriArj Entertainment and Abhishek Kapoor, a new revelation has been made about the film which may shock many. According to reports, director Abhishek Kapoor wanted to replace Sushant Singh Rajput by Vicky Kaushal as the male lead in his film. A source reveals to a daily, “Gattu (Abhishek Kapoor) is no stranger to replacements. During Fitoor, he sacked someone as senior and legendary as Rekha, and got Tabu on board. Kedarnath started on the wrong foot when he got the cinematographer replaced in the very first schedule. Then it was Sushant’s turn.”
Reportedly, the director wanted to replace Sushant as the actor was simultaneously shooting for many films and hence, he was unable to accommodate more dates for Kedarnath. Amid all this, Sushant started shooting for Abhishek Chaubey’s Sonechariya in Chambal, which annoyed the director to no end and led him to get in touch with Vicky.
We hope everyone associated with the movie sorts their differences as soon as possible and focuses on the film a little more than the controversies around.
