Did Anurag Kashyap Replace Ranveer and Rope in Ranbir
Anurag Kashyap, the well known director of Bollywood, is working on a film titled as ‘Bombay Velvet’ which is considered to be ambitious film of Anurag and it is very expensive too.

Anurag Kashyap , the well known director of Bollywood, is working on a film titled as ' Bombay Velvet ' which is considered to be ambitious film of Anurag and it is very expensive too. It was reported earlier that he had planned to sign Ranveer Singh for its lead role. Ranveer was too much excited to do this role. But sources reveal that now Anurag has signed Ranbir Kapoor for that role. Anushka Sharma will be acting opposite him.
Ranveer's fans are wondering about the matter which lead Anurag change his mind. Well, sources reveal that Anurag had almost finalized Ranveer for main role, because he was highly impressed by his work which is the reason why he is working in his another film ' Lootera '. Ranveer too was very keen to work with Anurag in ' Bombay Velvet '. He had almost determined or even signed (as reports say) Ranveer but when he came to know that Ranbir Kapoor was very keen to work with him, he thought of casting him for that film. Sources reveal that Ranbir had even expressed his desire to do that film.
It should be noted that Anurag was in dilemma and did not know what to do; whom to choose! Finally he chose Ranbir to do ' Bombay Velvet ' and cast Ranveer in any other film which he would be doing in future.
However, Anurag has denied everything and said, 'It's not true.'
Some people say that Anurag had earlier even considered Shah Rukh Khan , John Abraham and Aamir Khan for this film.
Only time will tell who acts in his film ' Bombay Velvet '.
