Diljit Dosanjh plays an alcoholic in Phillauri

Diljit Dosanjh was seen curbing drug addiction in his Bollywood debut film Udta Punjab. However, his second film stars him in the role of an alcoholic.

In his recent media interaction, Diljit revealed that he had to shed his six pack abs to look convincing as an alcoholic. Also, he followed a low fat diet during the shooting schedule of Phillauri. Talking more about his role, he said that though his character is seen singing Sufi songs, he has a negative trait in the film. It will be interesting to watch out on him after hearing these revelations.

Phillauri is slated to release on March 24.
