Emraan Hashmi Dons the Director's Cap for 'Ek Thi Daayan'

After proving his acting abilities in films such as ' Shanghai ', ' Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai ' and ' Jannat 2 ', Emraan Hashmi seems to prove that he can be a good director too! This news may come as a surprise but it is true that he turned a director for the movie ' Ek Thi Daayan '. But it's only for a shot and not the entire movie.
Kannan Iyer is making his directorial debut with ' Ek Thi Daayan '. But he wanted to make a cameo in the movie so he was looking for someone else who could direct that particular shot. It was Emraan Hashmi who said that he would like to do it. This way he got the chance of trying his hands at direction by directing the shot of the film's director!
Kannan Iyer has confirmed the news by saying, "I decided to do a small role in the film for fun and I wanted someone else to direct me. Emraan was around and he stepped up and said he would do it. It was quite fun."
It is seems as if Kannan is very much impressed by the actor's role behind the camera. He also said: "I am sure he would be a good director someday." Although both of them shot for about two hours, the final scene in the movie will be only about a minute or so!
Emraan Hashmi is playing the lead role in ' Ek Thi Daayan '. Now whatever is its result at the box office, the actor may never forget the experience of his 'debut shot' as a director.
