Off lately crime against women has raised at an alarming rate. One such incident had shaken Farhan Akhtar 's life too, when the legal adviser of his production house Excel Entertainment was brutally murdered in her flat by the building's watchman. Thereafter, he launched Men Against Rape and Discrimination (MARD) initiative to safeguard the rights of women.

It's been more than a year and Farhan and his business partner Ritesh Sidhwani are stuck to their initiative. They ensure the safety of the twelve women crew members working with them in their upcoming film ' Dil Dhadakne Do '. When the shoot goes beyond 10:30 pm, they have arranged a drop home facility for those women who stay far off the places, away from the set.

Only the trusted drivers who have been working with them are given the responsibility to drop the women crew home by the car. This ensures the less chances of mishap.

Hats off! Farhan and Ritesh for going extra miles to ensure women-safety.

Like it's said, it's better to be safe than to be sorry!
