Filmmaker Boney Kapoor to make a documentary on his late wife, Sridevi?
Reportedly, Boney Kapoor has registered titles such as ‘Sri’, ‘Sridevi’ and ‘Sri Ma’am’ for the documentary.
On February 24th, the first female superstar of India, Sridevi, died a tragic death in Dubai. Her death shocked the entire nation and that day is regarded as one of the black days in the Indian film fraternity. Sridevi, who started appearing in films at the young age of 4, starred in over 300 films with a career spanning over 50 years. And to give a tribute to his late wife, Sridevi’s husband and filmmaker, Boney Kapoor now wants to make a documentary on her life. According to a close source, Boney has also registered few titles for the film. As Sridevi never used her surname or second name, Boney has registered titles such as Sri’, ‘Sridevi’ and ‘Sri Ma’am’.
“Boneyji is serious about making a film on Srideviji, and hence he has registered these titles. He is also keen to acquire other films that she has worked in and has registered the titles of those films too. Films like Chaalbaaz, Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja, Jaanbaaz, Mr India and even titles like Return of Mr India have been registered by Boneyji recently,”, a source informed a daily.
