Filmmaker Dibakar Banerjee and Actor Abhay Deol Screen 'Shanghai' for IAS Officers

Prior to the world premiere of \'Shanghai\' at the upcoming IIFA Awards in Singapore, it has been screened to a batch of IAS officers in Mussoorie. Abhay Deol and Dibakar travelled to Mussoorie to showcase the movie.

\'Shanghai\' staring Abhay Deol, Emraan Hashmi, Kalki Koechlin and Prosenjit in key roles will hit the theatres next Friday. Abhay Deol has played the role of a Tamilian IAS officer.

The producer Priya Sreedharan said, \"The screening has just happened and we are all very excited about it. When we were making the film we had thought of showing it to IAS officers because Abhay\'s character is from their world. Dibakar referred his IAS friends for Abhay\'s role. We thought it would be great to show it to the officers as a token of gratitude.\"

Abhay Deol and Dibakar are likely to have an interactive session with the IAS officers post screening.
