Your favorite actor aka the heartthrob of millions of audiences Aamir Khan celebrates his birthday today i.e. 14tn March, 2011. He was born on March 14, 1965 and is also known as Aamir Hussain Khan.

Aamir Khan is a versatile actor and is very talented. He has proved his mettle in various fields of film departments whether it be acting, directing or film producing.

He began his career with his uncle's film (Uncle Nasir Hussain ) titled as Yaadon Ki Baarat as a child artist in the year 1973. However he entered into film industry as a hero from the film Holi made by Ketan Mehta in the year 1984. This film went unnoticed and wasn't successful. However luck favoured him when he did the film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak in 1988. The film was huge success and all film lovers noticed a new hero in the film industry. However he was known for a chocolaty face and romantic hero.

Aamir won his first Filmfare award for best male debut for this film and thereafter he never looked back. His success graph went on rising.

One of the most successful film after Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak it was Raja Hindustani which was a blockbuster. This film too portrayed him as a romantic hero.

But films like Ghulam and Rangeela changed his image completely. He was now seen as rough and tough hero.

Lagaan was yet another very popular film of Aamir Khan which had also gone for Oscar nomination. The film was a big hit.

What Aamir Khan did in Ghajini was exceptional. No one would have though that the Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak chocolate boy would ever do so tough and action man role. Ghajini is known as one of the best action films in film industry after Deewaar , Sholay etc of Amitabh Bachchan .

As a producer also Aamir has been very successful and produced many hit and popular films.

He is still doing superb acting and promises the film audiences exceptional entertainment through his acting and production of films.
