Harbhajan Singh, Geeta Basra to get married on October 29

The Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh and Bollywood actress Geeta Basra will reportedly tie knot on October 29. Harbhajan and Geeta were dating for half a decade and now, the couple will exchange marital vows.

The news update was confirmed by a common friend of the couple by saying that "Yes, they have finally decided to take the plunge. It was always just a matter of time. They were always together and fortunately, once they were committed to each other, never once was there any doubt about them looking elsewhere. In fact when a stray article or two came occasionally about a split between them, both Geeta and Harbhajan used to have a hearty laugh around that,"

The source further added that "The celebrations would begin much in advance though. In true Punjabi tradition, the festivities would kick start with mehendi, followed by sangeet and 'chooda' ceremony, while leading to the big day. A weeklong event has been planned as the wedding in Jalandhar would be followed by a reception, which is expected to be held in New Delhi."
