Has the friendship between Akshay Kumar and Neeraj Pandey turned sour due to the clash of Pad Man and Aiyaary?

When it comes to modern-day best actor-director pair, one of the first names that come to our mind is Akshay Kumar and Neeraj Pandey. The duo has together worked in a total of five films. Though Pandey has only directed two films from the five, he has either produced or written the other three films and all the five became a critical plus commercial successful. Known for making films together, the dear friends are now clashing with each other. Akshay and Neeraj, both are coming up with their films ‘Pad Man’ and ‘Aiyaary’ respectively, on Republic day next year and it is reported that the two has parted their ways. Insiders say that it is because of their joint project, ‘Crack’ got shelved and it created differences between the two.

Speaking about the big clash, an insider informed a leading daily, "Neeraj Pandey is very much aware that Akshay's ‘Pad Man’ is releasing on January 26. Neeraj still went ahead with the release of 'Aiyaary'. Why? Because the two have fallen out over financial issues! Their proposed upcoming film together 'Crack' which was to be made and released on Independence Day has also been shelved."

When the same was asked to Akshay at an event, he said, there is no such issue regarding the clash. The two films are completely different and have got enough screens all across the country, so it doesn’t affect him.
