The Dream Girl, Hema Malini will be soon seen in PETA\'s advertisement for promoting vegetarianism. This is for the second time, she is supporting a social cause with PETA.

The Dream Girl of the tinselville, Hema Malini has been several times in the news for her support to the various social causes. This time, the veteran actress freshly filmed an advertisement for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India. Hema Malini , who herself is a vegetarian person, promoted the vegetarianism in the commercial. Coincidently, the Vegetarianism Awareness month is going on and the advertisement is being released in the same month.
The proud vegetarian, Hema Malini discussed the plus points of being vegan by saying that being vegetarian is the key to good health. The actress is glad to see her food habits helping the planet and animals. Prior to this, Hema Malini on behalf of PETA wrote to the Mumbai Municipal Commissioner for requesting him to stop the dangerous and inhuman horse carriages from the busy roads of the city. Also, the actress urged the government to ban the hazardous sport of 'jallikattu'. Following this, a notification was issued by the Ministry of Environment and Forests saying that the bulls should not be used as the 'performing animals' anywhere. This is the second time, Malini is associated with a social cause with PETA.
For Hema Malini 's noticeable animal protection work, she was titled as PETA's Person of the Year in the year 2011.
