Huma Qureshi to essay tragedy-queen Meena Kumari?
Director Karan Razdan is ready to make Meena Kumari\'s biopic, for which he considers Huma Qureshi to get perfectly fitted in her role.

Tragedy queen, Meena Kumari portrayed distressing characters in the films like ' Daera ' and ' Sahib Bibi Aur Gulam ', but as they say- "Art often depicts life". And off the screen too, she leaded the same dismal living. Hence, her life was full of drama, emotions and tragedy, like a typical Bollywood movie. To film the real life of Meena Kumari on reel, director Karan Razdan has came up, for which he finds Huma Qureshi to get perfectly fitted in her role.
In a recent media interaction, Razdan said that from past four years he has been researching on the Meena Kumari 's life, to turn it into biopic. And now he is ready with the script and the shoot is likely to begin early next year.
Meena Kumari 's life and her journey has been very fascinating. And to do full justification to her role, he chose Huma Qureshi . Although she has not yet been approached, his team is likely to talk to her soon, he added.
Well, even we agree Huma has got the traditional charm to entice her on-lookers, like the beautiful actress Meena Kumari , once possessed. In fact, golden opportunity has knocked on her door, to essay the legendary actress on-screen. We readily predict, Huma won't turn it down.
