John Abraham will be seen saving tigers in jungles, in his upcoming film!
The feature film will be directed by acclaimed wildlife filmmaker Mike Pandey & film will be spreading the message of saving the tigers!
It seems Bollywood hunk John Abraham has changed his choice of roles and films and his fans seem to be appreciating it. Just as he wrapped up the shooting schedule of his upcoming home production action drama, Parmanu: The story of Pokhran, which is said to be very realistic and gritty in the tone! And now, the actor has been roped in, in an upcoming feature film, The Return of the Tiger, directed by Mike Pandey, who is specialized in making films about wildlife and the environment. Although he didn’t reveal anything about how the character of John, the actor will be playing one of two men, and their adventures in the jungles of India promise to turn out into a fascinating film that would spread the message of saving the tigers in India!
While speaking at El Gouna Film Festival in Egypt, Pandey regrets ‘The fact that while everybody in India is shouting that the tiger must be saved, nobody really cares how and why! And a movie with someone as big a star as John Abraham and someone with that kind of raw appeal will go a long way in creating an awareness of the pressing need to take care of the tiger.’
Further, he explains why he turned to directing a feature film. He stated a realistic fact saying, ‘Since documentaries are passé and nobody really watches them or they are hardly ever exhibited in commercial theatres, a feature-length work seems like a good bet to attract footfalls into the cinemas and help spread a message to save the tiger.”
More about the film, it would be inspired by director’s own experiences. The film will examine a whole lot of issues as two friends, Pandey and John, drawing the journey across the narrative through some of India’s most dense forests, telling story about a tigress with three cubs who were strayed outside the reserve area and poachers are around when the two men get into the act to save the animals. The plot is indeed gripping and worth watching in the theatre! Since the film is in early stage Mike didn’t reveal much about the project!
