Kangana Ranaut is one of the top Bollywood actresses these days and she has her kitty full of projects. The latest news update revealed that Kangana Ranaut will be seen essaying a Gujarati girl in California in Hansal Mehta 's upcoming film Simran . This movie is said to be accent-oriented and the most difficult linguistic challenge for Kangana. Prior to this, she has done accent-oriented role in the movie Tanu Weds Manu Returns. Kangana is currently shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj's next, Rangoon. In this film too, Kangana plays an accent-oriented role.

Talking about this, the filmmaker Mehta stated "Simran will be my most expensive film till date. All my films so far have been shot in Mumbai or small towns of India. This is my first film to be set outside India," He appreciated Kangana's committment by saying "She is super enthusiastic about the film and raring to go. We will start once she is done with Rangoon,"

A close source talked about Kangana's role in this film. "In Simran, Kangana is not only a Gujarati girl, but someone who has spent many years in the US. So her language would have to be a mixture of Gujarati and American." said the source. The actress will be taking some workshops for this accent-oriented role.
