Kangana Ranaut to turn director; Set to essay an 80 year old in ‘Teju’!
Actress Kangana Ranaut is all set to turn director in her upcoming film Teju where she plays an 80-year-old woman.
Actress Kangana Ranaut is an ambitious dame in not only in improving her performance but, she loves to explore her horizons in other aspects of filmmaking too. She has also taken up a course in script writing and filmmaking. Lately, there were reports of Kangana turning script-writer for Simran. Now, the latest update is that the actress is all set to turn director and will produce her first directorial outing under the banner Manikarnika Films in association with Shailesh Singh.

According to reports, Kangana Ranaut’s film has been titled Teju. Teju is a story of an 80 year old woman who is on the verge of death but is not willing to give up on it. It is a light-hearted tale on the life of a woman who knows how to live life to the fullest. Sources reveal that Kangana grew up with her great grandparents and have seen them and spent the majority of time with them as a young girl. So, the story is inspired by the people she loved dearly. The movie will also flaunt the culture of Himachal Pradesh.
It will be interesting to see how Kangana goes about with her first directorial venture. From the insights, the story seems refreshing with a strong theme. Teju is set to go on floors in December 2017. Watch this space for more updates!
