Kareena Kapoor to star in 'Shuddhi' with Hrithik Roshan
The Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor has been roped in to play female lead in upcoming film \'Shuddhi\' starring Hrithik Roshan. The film is produced by Karan Johar.

Several speculations were made pertaining to the female lead in upcoming flick ' Shuddhi ' starring Greek God of Bollywood, Hrithik Roshan . Now, all the rumors can come to an end, as none other than diva Kareena Kapoor has been roped in for this role.
' Shuddhi ' is directed by Karan Malhotra and is produced by Karan Johar . Prior to this, both the Karan Johar and Karan Malhotra worked together on earlier project, ' Agneepath ' that turned out to be a blockbuster incurring huge commercial success. This flick was made out of budget of around 100 crore. Dharma Productions head honcho Karan Johar expressed that he is very keen to see Hrithik and Kareena after a long hiatus of 12 years. Lastly, the duo was seen together in romantic flick ' Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham ' in 2001. Johar said. Karan Johar is feeling optimistic that Kareena and Hrithik will bring the anticipated energy envisioned by the director in the film ' Shuddhi '.
Both the lead actors, Hrithik and Kareena were happy to be on board, Johar revealed. He also said that the story of ' Shuddhi ' is an intense love story and is based on a reincarnation theme. Some of the favorite reincarnation flicks of Karan Johar are ' Karz ', ' Madhumati ', ' Karan Arjun ' and ' Kudrat '.
