Director Alankrita Shrivastava’s upcoming film Lipstick Under My Burkha is creating waves online and offline amongst the viewers. The trailer of the film and other publicity material like posters, online campaigns have received a raving response generating curiosity for the movie. The lipstick campaign on twitter raged like wild fire! The movie talks about desires of women and their freedom.
The key actors of the film are Konkona Sen Sharma , Ratna Pathak , Aahana Kumra , Plabita Borthakur and Vikrant Massey . The film team has released two dialogue promo videos that render glimpses into the character details. In the first promo, the makers introduce us to Usha ji who is a widow and is quite elderly. She reads erotic novels and is attracted towards a handsome swimming instructor. Watch the video and know her better!

Lipstick Under My Burkha has been produced by Prakash Jha Productions and distributed by Ekta Kapoor. The film will release on the silver screens on July 21!
