‘Lost Without You’ from Half Girlfriend is a perfect song for lost lovers!

‘Lost without you’ from Half Girlfriend is the track that strung cords of those with bruised heart! Though it could have been just another Bollywood’s gloomy song, but its lyrics by Laado Suwalka peculiarly define the state of a lover in pursuit of the answer of hurt hearted soul. The song is sung by Ami Mishra, who has previously given hits like ‘Bulleya’ and ‘Hasi’ and this time he even composed the track.

This track led to elevation with the inclusion of soulful vocals of Anushka Shahaney that gives it an edge, while contributing and complimenting the plot-line. And to top it off, cinematic pans and beautiful backdrop of New York does accentuate the feel of its video. Over the course of his filmmaking, director Mohit Suri has a flare of presenting sad side on celluloid and connect with masses, and most songs from this album pose no exceptions.

Though, other songs like ‘Baarish’, ‘Phir Bhi Tumko Chaunga’ and ‘Thodi der’ are already topping the charts, ‘Lost without you’ is also gaining momentum in terms of popularity. Half Girlfriend is a love story of Madhav Jha and Riya Somani played by Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor respectively. The film releases on May 19!
