Actress Namrata Shirodkar , wife of the Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu has delivered a baby girl on Friday June 20. She along with her baby is doing fine. The couple is very happy and excited about becoming parents of a baby girl.
Namrata has said in an interview that she would be naming her baby as 'Sitara'. Mahesh and Namarata have a 6-year-old son Gautam Krishna and both of them had wished for a girl now.
Former Miss India turned actress Namrata Shirodkar had married the Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu in November 2005 in Mumbai. They had been dating for five years. They had starred together in Telugu film 'Vamsi', which was a hit at the box office.
Reportedly, Namrata Shirodkar has decided to bank her baby's stem cells so as to spread awareness about the benefits of stem cell banking. In a recent interview to a leading newspaper she said, "It is a safeguard against diseases. And the fact that many celebrities are also doing so is an indication of the growth of knowledge and how high awareness levels are."
Namrata, who is the younger sister of Shilpa Shirodkar , has acted in critically-acclaimed films like ' Astitva ' and ' Vaastav '. She quit Bollywood after getting married to Mahesh Babu.
