Mani Ratnam's next likely to produce by Ekta Kapoor

The buzz is that, soap queen Ekta Kapoor is likely to produce ace director Mani Ratnam's next directorial venture. Ekta, who is up to her upcoming releases, is already planning for producing the next movie. If the reports are true, then Ekta is planning to rope in veteran director Mani Ratnam for her next production venture.

According to the source, Tanuj Garg, the CEO of Balaji Motion Pictures said that it is too early to reveal any details about this. But there are some discussions going on between the producer and director duo. So they have something in their mind , if that works out, it will be a great news.

Mani Ratnam's last venture was Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai starer 'Raavana' which could not work at the box office. Ratnam is famous for producing his film which he directs. But this time, he is in talks with Ekta and the industry is waiting for the fruitful results from the discussions. Till date, the official announcement is not yet done and more details about the news are not available.
