\'Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola\' to be switched into a broadway-style musical

We earlier reported about Vishal Bhardwaj receiving special invitation to direct an English opera at the prestigious Chatelet theatre in Paris. And now, the news update has more details to reveal. Vishal Bhardwaj has also received invitation for converting his 2013 release \'Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola\' into a broadway-style musical at Chatelet theatre, Paris.

Reportedly, this broadway-style musical will be presented in Hindi along with English subtitles. For the musical, Vishal Bhardwaj will be casting afresh as well as he is on the hunt for some singers, who can sing live on the stage. Bhardwaj is thinking of retaining Pankaj Kapur from the original cast, as the veteran actor Kapoor also has grat singing talent apart from his impeccable acting skills.
