Naseeruddin Shah to don the hat of gangster in \'Welcome Back\'
It's not Amitabh Bachchan, but Naseeruddin Shah, who will be playing a gangster in 'Welcome Back', the sequel of 2007's comic caper 'Welcome'.
There were flying rumours in B-Town these days that the megastar Amitabh Bachchan is going to play a gangster in \'Welcome Back\', the forthcoming second installment of the super hit comic caper \'Welcome\'. However, the latest reports revealed that it\'s not Big B, but Naseeruddin Shah will play a gangster in \'Welcome Back\'.
The late Bollywood star Feroz Khan essayed villain with comic side in 2007 release \'Welcome\' and this time, the veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah is going to step in the shoes of gangster for its sequel. The light was shaded on this, when Bachchan senior clarified that he has never been approached for any such role for the sequel of comedy ride. Prior to this, Naseeruddin played an eccentric and flamboyant gangster in \'Bombay Boys\' by Kaizad Gustad.
\'Welcome Back\' is the directorial venture by Anees Bazmee and features John Abraham, Shruti Haasan, Paresh Rawal, Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia.
