Nawazuddin Siddiqui is set for yet another noteworthy role in Phobia 2!

Talented actress Radhika Apte impressed one and all with her stellar performance in director Pavan Kirpalani’s Phobia. Apte essayed the role of a girl who suffers from agoraphobia in the first installment and considering its response, the makers have planned for a part 2 of the film with a male protagonist. Eminent actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been roped in for the lead role as his flawless acting abilities makes him a perfect fit for the role.

Nawazuddin was impressed with the script and his role and hence gave a nod to the film. According to the latest update, the actor will essay the role of a man who suffers from aviophobia or fear of flying. The entire set up of the film will be at the backdrop of a plane journey as Nawazuddin’s character takes a flight. Reports suggest that he will start the film after wrapping up his sci-fi adventure film Chandamama Door Ke. The preparations have already begun on part of the team.

Nawazuddin has a handful of interesting films lined up for him including Munna Michael, Babumoshai Bandookbaaz and Chandamama Door Ke among others. His performance and transformation in the recently released film Mom were highly appreciated. So, the dates for Phobia 2 will be rendered soon and the project will go on floors later in 2017 or in the beginning of next year.
