Next stop for Aamir Khan's ‘Secret Superstar’ is Taiwan and Russia!

‘Secret Superstar’, starring Zaira Wasim and Aamir Khan has turned out as one of the biggest hit of the year. Made on a budget of 50 crores, the movie has collected more than 120 crores worldwide and is still running in theatres. After winning hearts in India, this Advait Chandan’s film is all set to hit the screens in Taiwan and Russia. The film has got 50 screens in Russia and 72 screens in Taiwan.

Zee Studios International is taking the film to the foreign market. Vibha Chopra, Head – Zee Studios International, said in a statement, “Russia and Taiwan are great markets for Indian films with Indian cinema legends like Raj Kapoor still revered there. We are ecstatic to showcase ‘Secret Superstar’ to such countries and offer them a film that’s truly heart-warming and distinctive.”

The film has already released in foreign markets like the UK, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, UAE and other Gulf countries. The movie even surpassed the collections of ‘Dangal’ when released in Turkey. The movie is getting a great response from foreign markets. Chopra further added, “We stand committed to taking our films to international territories, known and unknown, as we strongly believe that good content should not be restricted by borders.”

Advait Chandan’s this directorial debut is jointly produced by Zee Studios and Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao. Apart from Zaira and Aamir, the movie also stars Meher Vij and Raj Arjun.
