The Bollywood actor Nikhil Dwivedi recently visited a high-class restaurant in the town and it denied packing the leftover food as takeaway. Hence, Nikhil Dwivedi has raised his voice in the opposition of the restaurant. The actor revealed that he was shocked, when he came to know that the leftover food is thrown away by the restaurant. He also said that though it is true that the restaurants require to maintain a certain quality, this wastage of food is ridiculous. Each consumer has right to pack his or her leftover food and takeaway as the consumer pays for it. Nikhil stated that in our country, a huge number of people remain devoid of getting their one square meal every day, such unnecessary wastage of food disturbs him.
Nikhil Dwivedi thinks of taking a strict action via the medium of consumer forums and plans to alert all of his friends and public regarding the restaurant\'s weird policy.
The actor further explained that he was always taught not to waste the food. When you go in the group at a restaurant and you order variety of dishes, the chances are more that the food gets wasted despite your best efforts, he said. Nikhil suggested to give that food to the needy people rather than just wasting it. Some of the best restaurants already do this good work. He promises to focus more on this matter.
