Nimrat Kaur to essay army officer in Ekta Kapoor's digital series
Nimrat Kaur will portray an army officer's role in Ekta Kapoor's upcoming digital series.

Actress Nimrat Kaur 's role in the film Airlift won her lots of applause and then she was seen in the Hollywood television series like Wayward Pines and Homeland. The beautiful actress is now all set to play an army officer in upcoming untitled digital series of Ekta Kapoor . Nagesh Kukunoor will direct this project.
Born to an army Major, the actress was aspired to join the Indian Army. Army always feels home to her, though life has offered her an array of opportunities. Talking about this, Nimrat said "I grew up in cantonments and have been an outland-out army kid all my life. My father was in the services since the time I was born to my formative years. That environment has enhanced my sense of belonging. Life and time have given me different opportunities but the army will always be my home… Now, I'm getting to do just that, wear the uniform like my father. Growing up, I'd watch Shah Rukh Khan in Fauji and I remember being fascinated with that as well. This show is the closest to being part of that world.”
