\'OMG Oh My God!\' sequel rides in Political lanes
Religious satire \'OMG Oh My God!\' starring Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal is ready for its sequel which has been planned to be a political satire
The 2012 release \'OMG Oh My God!\' proved to be a underdog, registering critical as well as commercial success at the box office. Director Umesh Shukla pulled up a simple theme of blind faith in religion practices which was not only felt by the audiences but practiced as well.
This flick not only generated appreciation but faced the grunge coming from the religious sectors of the society. Overcoming the barriers, Akshay Kumar , Paresh Rawal starrer went on to rose ahead of then super hits.
Merely, this time reportedly the director Umesh and writer Bhavesh Mandalia have planned and penned up the sequel to be a political satire, sword hanging upon the politicians. As the earlier installment went hard on the spiritual gurus this one might get stuck in the throats of politicians.
However, the star cast has not yet been announced official but, as per the industry insiders the sequel will be catering the same leads of the franchise, Akshay and Paresh themselves. The film is reported set to go on floors next year.
